Occupy Sukkot w/ Rabbi David Shneyer



Living in temporary shelters outdoors, encouraging solidarity with those who are suffering… sounds a lot like the growing Occupy movement.  But for Jews, these are also elements of the important fall holiday called Sukkot.

Given this obvious synchronicity between the spiritual and the political, it was natural for Rabbi David Shneyer, founder/director of Am Kolel, to share some music and Sukkot traditions at the Occupy DC site in McPherson Square this past weekend.
